Brackenwood is a biodynamic, cool climate vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Nestled high in the Southern Adelaide Hills, at Hope Forest, they produce small batches of premium wine from estate grown fruit. They also acknowledge The Peramangk people as the traditional custodians of Dingabledinga, Hope Forest and Willunga Hill. After The Great War, the property became a soldier-settlers block. Ebenezer, set about clearing the land and grazing cattle. During the 80's, cattle were swapped for deer.

This textural style riesling was made from two picks; one early for citrus spectrum flavours and one later for stone fruit flavours and each fermented in old Hungarian barrels. We allowed the wine to go through malolactic fermentation to provide a fuller mouth feel and rounder acid drive. Aromas of wild thyme and dried herbs compliment the grapefruit and white peach flavours with a lingering acid mineral finish.
